H1B Amendment/Extension while GC EB1 in progress

Hi,

1. My employer have filed my Green Card in EB1 category.
2. My current H1B petition is expiring soon, and needs extension/amendment depending on which new project I will soon move to. Given that I have multiple projects on offer within my company, what type of a role should I choose for my next assignment so my H1B extension/amendment aligns with my GC EB1 case?
3. For my current H1B role, my petition was approved last year with more focus as Technology expert. Now that I am performing a role at a managerial role, do you advise -

1. If I should get my H1B role amended or
2. Convert from H1B to L1A visa type
