My employer filed an amendment request for location change on March 29th 2019 with California Service Center, and the petition is still in progress.
My wife is now planning to goto India wherein she has to undergo stamping with in-person interview. I have the following clarifications:
1. Can my wife goto India for stamping while my H1B amendment is still in progress?
2. Does my wife needs to complete bio-metrics as per latest USCIS guidelines? My employer didn't filed any new petition for H4 visa as it was an amendment petition. However my wife does has an H4 EAD. So will that make any difference regarding bio-metrics.
