Will consulate validate B1 details while issuing L1 visa

Hi,
Please let me know, when a person already holding B1/B2 visa (sponsored by 'A' company, to visit client for KT) is now applying for L1 visa (sponsored by 'B' company to work at client place), will consulate verify the B1 visa details while issuing L1 visa.

Please i need an asnwer immediately, if someone has any idea let me know.

I don't know what you mean by verifying an existing visa. The only thing that could happen depending on the VO is that your B1/B2 could get cancelled (Usually they don't do that for a B1/B2) when they stamp your L1.
