  • H1B to H4

    Hello,

My H1B is expiring in few months from now and I have completed six years and my employer did not file GC. Can I file for dependent H4 visa and still stay in US with my Spouse.

    Thanks,
    Baazi

Yes. That should be not a problem at all.

You can do that. However, inorder to work again, you will need to stay out of the country for 1 whole year and then apply a fresh H1B, unless your spouse has applied for GC and you are about to get the EAD.
