Pending Visa with Administrative Processing

HI,
I appeared for interview at consulate. Interview was quite cool but consular officer said, i approve your visa but requires some 'Administrative procesing'. Can some body tell me abt this 'Administrative Processing'? and how long would it take? And is it confirm that visa is approved as per her wordings?

Administrative processing hell!!!

I surely have thesame problem here. After the interview, I was told that my case will now go into administrative processing which may take up to six months. I am an applying for K1 fiancee visa and am very sure all my documents were in order.

My lawyer has said that it is likely they want to do back ground checking on me. So in my case, I should have told my family members of my plan to get married to my fiancee else I stand the chance of being denied and my case closed so I have done just that and am waiting for results.
