H1 stamping during acquisition process

Hi Experts,

I have question regarding stamping process during acquisition.
I have approved I-797 (with expired visa) till 2022 with Company A and now company A is in process of acquired by Company B.

I had plan to go to home country in December, 2019. Now I am worried, whether I should go or no? As acquisition process is going on which might complete when I will be in my home country.

With current conditions of visas, Can you please suggest based on your experiences Shall I hold my visit for future date or Will it fine to travel and get visa stamped in December?

I think you should definitely ask this to company lawyer. -in my opinion- you will probably have some troubles when they ask 'which company you work for' and it is different then what it says on I797.
