Question abt H1B stamping.

Hi,

I am currently on H1b visa in USA. My husband is in London, UK.
I also have a UK dependant visa. Now I need to visit London, UK
and India for a family function. I need to get my H1b Visa stampped
if I leave the country. Is it better for me to get the stamping in London
or in Chennai, India. How many days does it take to get the visa in both places.

Please advice.

If this is your first time H1B stamping, then you should get it in your home country. Otherwise, you can get it done from UK or India. If there is no 221g issued, then you should get the passport back within 10 days. If there is a 221g requesting for more documents, then it would take it's own course of time.

It will be my second h1b visa stamping. First one i got it from mexico. I got the passport with the visa stamped on the same day. The problem is i can't take more leave too. Can someone please tell me how long does it take to get the visa stamping in london UK. Is there any specifications to get it done it london or the same as in india.
