Hyderabad Consulate - Slots

Hi All,

I can find no dates for H1b Visa Stamping at Hyd for May 1st week.

I have seen from hyd consulate website that one can have an appointment at Chennai if required from this post.

I have my "conuslate" left blank in I-797.

Does anyone have idea if there will be any slots available at-least by Monday for Hyd Consulate?

Or can I go for chennai consulate as location is not mentioned in my I-797?
If so, should I have to carry any special documents to attend interview in Chennai?

Kindly help me.

I am also looking for 1st week of May slots.Hopefully, we can see some by Monday.

If you are in Hyderabad, then you have to visit hyderabad office only. No one can predict when the next date will be open. You need to check the site on regular basis. Normal experience is, check the site during 8AM to 10AM daily in working days.
Second thing, the link you have mentioned for chennai, you can visit chennai only in case of urgency like - death or marriage or something like that and that you need to prove to them. So, that is not for normal case.
And my assumption is you are opting for first time h1b, right?
If you are currently in USA and going for h1 renewal then you can go for any consulate in india.
