Will I need to reenter H-1B lottery in future?
tHi,
I have my current H-1B valid till August 2020. I have my I-140 approved in EB2 category (India waiting list, so unlikely to receive anytime in future).
However, due to unforeseen illness in my family, I need to quit my job in January 2020 and return back to India for at least a year. Thus I will have an unclaimed period of 6 months on my H-1B.
Say in 2022, I decide to come back to USA (assuming somebody is willing to sponsor my H-1B). In which case, will I need to re-enter lottery?
