Hi,
I have a valid I-94 on H1b till 12/31/2019.
I found a new employer (reputed staffing consultant) who is insisting that they can do an H1b transfer only if they can file to USCIS by 12/16/2019 (kind of 2 weeks before the I94 expires) beyond that they’ll not be able to take up the h1 transfer.
Till now we have only the LCA approval.
Employer said it is a new rule and attorneys have mentioned this. Is anyone aware of such a rule/ guideline ??
