Do I qualify for Visa Renewal

Hello All,

I have H1B visa that expired in June 2007. I got extension until 2010 and that too expired. I havent been to India in these 3 years. Now I have another extension and planning to travel to India next month.

So I was wondering if I qualify for visa renewal.

1. I have the same class of U.S. visa (which is expired in 2007 though)
2. Wish to apply for the same visa class. Already have H1 Visa and applying again for H1 visa.
3. I am an Indian national (holding Indian passport)
4. I am resident of Hyderabad

Looks I all four points are ok to me expect for the first one. Do I have satisfy all the points...Is my case considerd renewal or no??

You do not qualify for visa renewal since your current visa in the passport expired more than 12 months ago.
