I-539 processing - Is traveling an option?
Hello everyone,
my husband and I had to get our visa extension done due to a change of job, his h1-b went through, but since they have introduced a few extra procedures this year for h4 processing, mine still says "case was updated to show fingerprints were taken". I was supposed to travel to India in a few days, but the lawyer has told me that unless it gets approved I can't leave the US.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Is traveling on a tourist visa an option? (I have a 10 year valid tourist visa)
Does anyone know of someone who has traveled while the visa extension is still being processed?
