URGENT HELP REQUIRED - H1 to H4

Hi folks:

I got my H1B approved....The employer after the approval is not responding well to me, a I havent still got the OFFER LETTER....

I am worried they may not give me the APPROVAL NOTICE AND I-94...

I just have only the RECEIPT NUMBER with me.....

Is it possible for me to go a head and file for COS to H4, just by using the RECEIPT NUMBER....The case status is showing me the H1B is approved on 5/5/2010.

Please let me know how long i can wait for them to provide me the approval notice before, i can decide to go back on H4.

If the case status is showing as approved, then your petition is actually approved by USCIS. It will take some time to get the hard copy by mail. You can file a COS to H4 with the receipt number.
