Can i appy extension when transfer is pending

Iam going to apply for H1 transfer in pp by company B and my extension is also very close.Can i apply for extension when my transfer is pending?.Some of my friends told that both extension and transfer should not be processed at same time.pls advice me..Thanks.

You can process the extension and transfer at the same time. The only problem is that, both would come with a new I-94. The last received I-94 will take precedence.
