Hi,
I am on H1B and my extension was approved in Sept 2019. However, my spouse's extension doesn't have any updates. The status is still mentioned as "Case was received". We are planning to visit India for personal work.
I got to know that we can withdraw H4(I-539) and go for dropbox / stamping based on H1B's approval.
Can someone help me understand if there are any disadvantages if an H4 petition is withdrawn ?
