Hi,
I am on H1B and my wife is on H4. She got an admit from US school and she is currently thinking of starting the school on H4 and later converting it to F1 through COS.
I have 2 questions:
If after she joins the school I lose my job -
1) Can she then immediately apply for H4 to F1 COS?
2) If she applies for H4 to F1 COS can she continue to attend the school even after 60 days grace period or does she have to leave US after 60 days and come back only after her COS gets approved? (assuming I do not find a new H1B sponsor and her COS is not yet approved)
