L1b to H1B

my details,
Visa Type - L1B
Expiry - Aug 2011
Company - CompanyA
Currently I am working for Company A, and I am planning to get my H1B.


Question -

1) Can I process my H1B the coming year i.e. 2011 ???

2) If I process my H1B next year and for some reason I had to go back to india on June, What would happen to my H1 application ???
I saw a post which says, "you will have to leave the country, get the H1B stamped and return back in the last week of September or in the month of October."
So that means, I can come back, with/ without any job offer ? , how long do I have time to get a job ???

3) If my company initiates my L1B & I had already submitted my H1B documents, what would happen ?

4) If I process my H1B this year 2010, can I continue working for my current company i.e. L1B visa ?? and how long can I continue??

5) Is there any way that my current employer would come to know about my H1B??

1. Yes.
2. H1 means you already have a job. what do you mean by job offer then?
3. Nothing happens. what do you think will happen?
4. Yes. Until expiry of L1, of course.
5. No.
