Hello,
I was arrested for DUI in aug 2019 in Ohio. The charge was later reduced to physical control.
my H1 extension was filed in dec 2019. Had RFE asking to provide all docs.
the extension was approved but no i94 was given.
hence I will have to leave the country, get a new visa and arrive with new i94 in order to continue my job.
I will have to go for stamping in April 2020 which is less than a year from arrest. I have heard that they don’t approve visa in such cases as the arrest was less than a year ago. Is it true? Anyone has got their visa stamped within one year of DUI?
Any insight or information will be helpful.
