Passport question

Hello friends,

My Indian passport expires next year, July 17.
I am planning to travel to India with H1-B visa in the month of June-July this year. Do I need to renew my passport or is 12 month validity sufficient to return back to the US? I also need to go for H1-B visa stamping in India

Should be fine.

Sometimes at the port of entry while returning, you'll get I-94 until passport expiry date, instead of H1 expiry date. You may show your H1 petition to officer, and may request for the date on that.

Better to get it renewed if you have time. Otherwise on POE, you will be getting your I-94 till passport expiry. so, again after you need to contact POE office to get the new I-94.
