    Lost Passport

    I got my h1 visa stamped with my first employer from Sep 2006 to Sep 2009.
    I got my new i94 with new employer till Sep 2011.
    If i lose my passport, do i have to step out of USA to get my visa stamped or am I legal to stay with the i94 till Sep 2011 without stepping out of USA.
