Hi
I recently changed jobs to become an employee at a firm. I believed at that time that it would be more appropriate to start green card through a stable company than through a contracting agency.
But within a couple of weeks of being at the firm I have come to realize that this is not the right job for me. I want to go back to my previous contracting job that I enjoyed. Is this something that is doable?
I read in one of the postings that if the H1B petition has not been revoked then I can still go back to my previous employer. Is this correct? I am hoping that the contracting agency did not revoke my H1B as soon as I left them. If they have not revoked H1B, can I just give my notice to my current firm and go back to the contracting agency without getting into any issues with the USCIS?
Any insight on these would be much appreciated.
Thanks a ton.
