Need suggestion please

In DS-160 I entered my passport number as XOxxxxxx (Capital O) instead of 0 (zero) and when booked the interview it was booked having zero.
Question is, I have already booked the interview can this be informed at the prescreening counter on the day of interview? or should I have to cancel my appointment and correct in DS-160 and reapply again for interview.
Please suggest which is the best process and would this create any problem?

Talk to VFS helpdesk. They should be able to help you.

Thanks for your response, but the correction has to be made in DS-160 (from O to 0), since it is submitted and interview date booked. Can you suggest what is the best way?

If you have time, then you can redo the DS-160 and book a new appointment with the generated barcode. I wouldn't suggest you to try your luck by going for the interview with a mistake like this on DS160. If yo do not have time, then as suggested below, talk to the VFS helpdesk. They should be able to help to either correct the DS160 or by giving you the correct guidance.
