    Hello All,

I have my H1-B with my company(A) till June 2012. the company is a small one with very few employees. my company was not doing good last year. So I started looking for jobs outside.

Our company is a preffered vendor of one of the major consulting companies (B). through this consulting company I got a short term project and i started working at one of the client(C) since last 3 months.

So my payroll is still run by my company A and they still hold my H1B. But I work at client (C) which is in a different state than my company(A).

last week I heard from one of my freind that I have to apply for LCA.
    Can anybody please advise??

    any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks and regards
    I

Your friend is right. LCA need to be filed and approved for where you are currently working. Also, the tax that you pay should be for the state where you are working now. If your employer didn't file a new LCA, then I assume they are not deducting the state tax for the state where you currently work. Get all this corrected asap, otherwise it will cause issues later.
