Transfer from H4 to H1B

I am currently on an H4 visa and I had received an H1B visa last year through company A. Now company A is filling a transfer of my status from H4 to H1B and wants me to start working for them right away.
I am not sure what kind of paperwork/approval I should be waiting for before starting to work for them??
Can someone please specify what type of paperwork I should have in hand before starting to work in the US?

You cannot work for them until your status is changed from H4 to H1B (Meaning, until you receive the approval). Normal process takes 2-3 months. If they are in hurry, then ask them to process the COS in premium which will take only 15 days.
