H1B Revocation

Hello,

I have a serious concern. I and my husband both are on H1B and work for the same employer. The situation is we have to quit immediately.
I was wondering in case if he revokes our visas how long do we have to search another job and have the visa tranfered? and how do we know if its been revoked?
Please help.

It doesn't matter whether the petition is revoked or not. The day you quit the job, you will go out of status on H1B if the transfer is not filed prior to your last day on work. It is advisable to find a new employer, initiate the transfer and then quit because you will need the latest pay slips when you apply for the transfer. Change of status or H1B transfer is not possible when you are out of status.
