  • LCA - Multiple work locations

    Hello everyone,,

we are a small company and planning to file an H1B visa for the first time.

H1B employee will be working mostly @ our client's location but will also be working partially from our home based office.

My first question is that for LCA application, do we need to add both the locations ?
Second question is related to the LCA's period of intended employment ... we are planning to have the start date as of Aug 1,'2020 to July 1'2023. does that make sense?

I know that on the H1B application & the offer letter, we need to put Oct 1 2020. but I am not sure of the LCA dates.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,
    Please see my response.

Answer: If Employee will be working both the location, then you will need to list both the address in the LCA. It is very important.
Second question is related to the LCA's period of intended employment ... we are planning to have the start date as of Aug 1,'2020 to July 1'2023. does that make sense?
Answer: Its better to file LCA with the start date of Oct 01 for CAP cases.
    Thanks
