I have a question and I am in a real need. I need some free consultation regarding my situation. Currently I am on H1B (With Second Employer) which was approved on 05/18/2010. But last Fiscal year one of the employer (First Employer) applied my H1B and I got approved 12/16/2009. It was too late to get the approval so I found a new employer for whom I was working on OPT during FY 2009. I just breached the contract with the first employer. And he is asking for 15000 USD and I paid 10000 out of it. One of my attorney made an agreement paying the contract off. But recently I have come across that DOL says no to pay any contract off or any penalties. So please let me know should I pay it or I should file a complaint in DOL.
