Hello Friends, need some urgent advice/help
I was on H1B and my last date was June 26th on the job and I have applied for H4 recently before the 60 day grace period. The H4 was applied 49 days after my grace period and I am still waiting for the receipt no for the H1 to H4 COS petition. The grace period of 60 days after losing my job ends tomorrow and I have a job offer now with a startup company with me as the first employee, does my new employer have to file for my H1B transfer by tomorrow or he has time now to file it at any time later before my I-94 expires since my H1 to H4 COS petition is with USCIS now?
