Cap exempt to non cap exempt H1

I am currently working for an organization A (non profit) on a cap exempt H1B. Another company B (which is not cap exempt) has filed my H1B under the lottery and I got selected and I also got my approval notice to start from Dec 2020.


If I do not join company B, will I lose my non cap exempt H1B spot? This is in case I want to join another non cap exempt company in future.
