H1B stamping in India

Hi,

I had a change of employer in April 2019 and I have been with the same employer till now. I have to visit India in December and will need stamping as the current stamp is from the previous employer. Can anyone please confirm with new relaxation of the rules, do I qualify for an h1b appointment and stamping in India?

“ If you are working with the same employer in a same position in which you were working earlier under the same visa category”

Hi Member,
if you have a stamping validity then you can travel and come back even if your H1B is transferred to another Employer. If your stamping got over then you can go for visa stamping with New Employer documents. This time you will be eligible for Drop box option( Interview waiver)
