H1B Appoinment Schedule at Chennai in Aug / Sep

Hi,

I am getting married towards the end of Aug and I am looking to schedule my current H1B visa renewal and my wife's H4 appointment at Chennai consulte.

I am regularly checking the VFS website and it shows August to be completely greyed out and September not yet open.

Can anyone let us know if August is fully booked out or if it has not yet opened? Any idea when dates might open and how frequenctly I need to check VFS website.

I contacted VFS customer service, but they wouldn't answer Yes or No.

"As and when the dates are allocated by the Consulate, the same reflects on the VFS website. Keep checking the website for the availability of interview dates." - was their answer.

So any info or experiences you all can share about when the dates will be available in Aug / Sep is appreciated

I don't think August would have been booked. They wouldn't have even opened it.

Usually, they open 2-3 weeks before.

As always, keep checking. And book immediately when you see.
They get filled quick.

They are opening interview slots only 2-3 weeks in advance...check after 10th or 15th July for dates in first week of August.
