H1b transfer while latest i94 date is incorrect

Hi,

I got a offer from company B, I am in USA

My current H1b extension in company A ( current employer) came weeks back,

That work permit extension is for 3 years (till 2023)

but in the bottom of i797 page the i94 card has typo of only 10 days validity ( instead of 3 years and 10 days) - and that wrong validity date has already passed.

My current employer said its a typo and they will reach us us for correction in the i94 date - this may take months based on USCIS timeline

Now Will there be any issue in my H1B transfer to company B while this i94 validity typo is not fixed?

Answer: It might affect H1B transfer petition as you will have to proof the mistake was only typo error. By the way, for now you would have got any update. Kindly do share your experience on this.
