  • Do I need to enter spouse's i140 info from his previous employer in DS-160 for H4?

My spouse has an approved I-140 from his previous employer. In ds-160 where it asks for my spouse information in the Travel Information section,I currently entered
    1. Purpose of trip : TEMPORARY WORKER(H)
    2. Specify: SPOUSE OF AN H(H4)
    3. Petition number: I129 petition number from the current employer

Do I also have to provide the I-140 information in DS-160? If yes, how?

    Hi Member,

Answer: As an H4 applicant you dont want to provide I-140 petition details of your spouse..
Just for your Information, Under Travel Information, there is a question of,
"Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services?"
If anyone filed Immigrant petition for you( Applicant) then you will need to say answer as YES.
    Thanks
