Hello,
My initial H-1B was approved in 2019 and I have received my I-797A approval notice and during the pandemic 2 amendments were applied one for reduced work hours (40 hours per week to 36hours) and the other for wage reduction (10% pay cut). Both of them were approved but the latter one was approved as I-797B without COS and I-94. My employer says this was a mistake by the USCIS officer as he did not consider my underlying H-1B and I was approved without I-94 or change of status. My employer is filing for an appeal for this. Is there any other option for me now?
Please advise.
Thank you.
