H4 Nunc-Pro-Tunc(NPT) denial probability

My wife(H4) have I94 valid till Nov 30,2020 but she have essay writer stamped visa valid till August,2021. We realized this in early december and filed a NPT(Nunc-Pro-Tunc) on Dec 08,2020 with USCIS.
Considering this have a few questions
1. What are the chances that her NPT would be denied?
2. Does she have to leave country before completing 180 days(To avoid any bans) or is she fine to stay until hearing the decision on filed NPT?
