H1 Transfer While In india

I have been working for X employer and went to US (onsite) for an year in 2009. Now I am in my own country trying to transfer my H1 its been an year since I am in my own country. Can I transfer My H1 to other sponsers. What is the process to transfer if I dont have recent US pay stubs.

H1 transfer is nothing but a new H1 not subject to cap.

When you didn't work, how can you have recent pay stubs?
So don't worry about pay stubs.
