Question on Premium processing

Hi All,

I applied my H1 Extension in April 2010 and I got an RFE on June 2010 at vermont Center with Regular Processing.

My company responded to the RFE and waited for almost 10 days and now recently on July 21st, 2010 they applied for change from Regular to Premium processing and the consulate received the premium processing form and check of $1000 next day on July22nd morning.

My case status shows as "Requested for Evidence" even after they recived the check for almost 3days. Generally, how many days it takes USCIS to change my case to Premium processing? I heard that they will request regular processing department for my documents and then process it.

Did anybody converted there case to Premium processing inbetween and how many days do you think it will take? Any experiences?

My friend actually on L1 recently applied for Extension and got approval.

Initially his company applied on regular then changed to premium, papers moved on the same day when they recieve the check.

status will be updated by next day.

I dont know what happens as you have RFE
