Does time spend on TN visa counted against 6 years CAP of H1b

Hi ,
I am a Indian born Canadian Citizen.
I worked in USA on L1B visa for 3 years( 2016-2019) and then 2 years on TN visa( 2019-2021) .
My employer want to apply GC for me .
But As TN Visa is a single intent visa , I need to get H1B visa first and then apply for GC.

My questions is if the time spent on TN visa counted against 6 years CAP of H1B ?
How much time i will have on H1B if approved in Oct , 2021.

please advise.

Hi,
TN visa status will not be counted for H1B approval. Once you get H1B Approval, you will have full of 6 years in your account. But if you used status on L1, it will be counted against the 6 year H-1B limit.
