Question regarding EAD application

Hi,

I was in us with L1 visa and my wife was working here with L2 EAD. I left us before my visa got expired. Now, we came back to US on new L1 & L2 visas. Can any one let me know whether my wife should apply for a new EAD or need to apply for renual of earlier EAD?

She can use her existing EAD if it has not expired. If expired, she can apply for another. Select renewal option in the form.

Her earlier EAD is expired now. Can we select the renewal option in the application as we are on a new L1 visa. Where can I find the documentation regarding this one?
