I currently reside in the US. I filled out the DS 160 form for my H-1 B visa application in May and paid the required fees. I was planning on traveling to India in August and appear for an interview. However, I was laid off last week and am not on H1 status anymore. I have filed the I-539 form for change of status to H-4 based on my husband's status. Can I use the same fees I paid for H1 and appear for an H-4 interview?what is the procedure for changing the application?

Hi
Do you know if there is a way to add the spouse's name to a visa appointment already scheduled? My husband is applying for H1 and i will be applying for H4. I was planning on applying for a separate H1 but lost my job after my husband took his appointment.Immihelp Support
