How to edit my H-1B petition number after I book my visa appointment in ustraveldocs?

Hello,

I need your help on the following question.

How can I change my H-1B petition number in ustraveldocs after I have scheduled my visa appointment. Because recently my project with Client A has been completed and I moved to client B and applied for an amendment which is in process. Meanwhile, I have scheduled for visa stamping appointment at chennai consulate by entering my current petition number from old client. I have not submitted my DS-160 yet and so once I get my new petition number, I will enter it in my DS-160. But if I do that, the H-1B petition number from DS-160 does not match with ustraveldocs petition number. So My question is

How can I update my petition number in ustraveldocs ?
(or)
Is it OK if both the petition numbers does not match. What are my next steps. Kindly please help. Thank you in advance

Hi,
Once you schedule the appointment, It is very hard to change any details in the ustraveldocs page.. When we had a similar experience from one of our circle, concern guy just called to customer support and they asked applicant to carry both the notices when go for stamping.
When Officer asks about the difference, we will need to give clarification to them and they will update the data accordingly.
