Applying Multiple H1B

Hi,

I already had h1b from x company on 2009. But I was not able travel due to recession. Now my current company willing to sponsor me for this year.
I am not willing to transfer my visa as i will be valid only for next 1 year.My queries:

1. Can I still apply for new visa.
2. Can I apply it without informing my current company about my previous visa.
3. I got previous visa after 221g form. Would that create any issues now.

While scheduling for interview I got the
Are you applying for the same class of visa which is currently valid or has expired within the past 12 months?*

Since my compnay going to book to the appointment for me - They need to know the details about my previous visa.Right.But they dont know now. What can I do now.

You can answer yes. It is not a big deal.
You can even use the same existing Visa and new petition to travel to US.
