  • H1 Stamping interview visa form

I am filling up the form in ustraveldocs website to schedule my appointment and I have a question regarding petitioner's information. Background: petitioner or lawyer has not yet received the official i797 form and we are not sure about the visa validity dates. Visa interview requires these details and I am assuming that I will be getting 3 years visa but I want to know if I put assumed dates and go ahead with paying for the visa fees to see open slots, will I be able to come back later (say a week later) to make changes to the petitioner's visa validity dates after making the fee payment? Please help out this is urgent! Much appreciated in advance.

    Hi,
I would suggest you to wait for Approval notice to be received.. Once you receive then you may go ahead and provide necessary information to schedule the appointments.. I hope, it is hard to edit Visa appointment page once you schedule the dates.. Only exemption is, you can edit document delivery information.
    Thanks..

Thank you so much. I also felt that it would be better to wait, as it is there is h1 ban.

        Hi,

I looked at scheduling the visa appointment and I qualify for dropbox appointment. However, even to drop off documents I got earliest appointment on April 20. Im honestly quite dissapointed that its so late. Can anyone suggest that if i keep checking to reschedule appointment is there a chance that I will get an earlier date than april 20 ?
