I am currently on H1B completed 5 years. My company has filed my I-140 in EB2 and its in progress currently. Now my company is ready to convert my H1B to L1A as there is a potential requirement to promote me as a manager. I meet all the requirements related to role and offshore manager experience 1 year before coming to U.S. I have been with same company for the last 14 years.
My questions are..
1) Can current i-140 in EB2 processes/run in parallel to H1B to L1A visa conversion?
2) Would there be any impact to ongoing I-140 in EB2 process with Conversion or both are independent?
3) For filing EB1 i140 after Conversion, does the previous EB2 I140 need to be canceled/discontinued?
