Bank balance/Fund while H1b stamping in home country

Hi to All forum member,


I have received my I797 approval notice and now we are preparing for our visa stamping at Mumbai(H1 AND H4).

I was previously on F1 and then after H1b with another company. Then lost job and came to my home country. Totally I spent 2 and half year in US. Now once again , I got h1b approval. so this is my case.

My questions are;

Can I have to show some funds in bank or show any sponsor for my trip cost? because there is a question in DS 160; WHO WILL PAY FOR YOUR TRIP?, what should be my answer? I don't have too much money in may bank account.

Can I write answer; FAMILY FUND AND SPONSOR FROM MY BROTHER?

Suggest me your best opinion.

You don't have to show any proof of funds for flight tickets.

Usually in H1 case, employer shall pay for tickets.

If I write SELF/Sponsor, will it create any problem for Visa stamping?

I am asking this question because my H1b is part time and I am allowed to work for 30 hr/week and salary is medium per hr.
