H1B Visa Stamping

We have an employee who has received I-797B approval notice in 2019. He has a Nepali passport but he works in our India location. Now, we are planning to get his H1B visa stamping done. So, does he need to apply for the Visa stamping from the US Consulate in Nepal ? or He can do it in the US Consulate in India?

Hi,
Could you please check, which consulate name has been mentioned in the I-797B notice? Actually, Consulate name will be mentioned in the I-797B if you would have requested H1B Approval with consular processing.. Based on that, you can plan for Visa Stamping Interview.
