H4 stamping query

Hi,

My husband is on H1 in US. I am in India and planning to book H4 appointment for me and my son (4months old).

I have the following queries:

1. While filling my DS form, is it advisable to select the 'Create a family application' option in DS-160 confirmation page for filling my son's DS form? what is the use of this option?

2. Can we attend the visa stamping at same time if i book it using the 'Co-workers or family members travelling together' option in VFS site while booking the appointment?

3. Do i need to take two different sets of all the documents for both of us or one set will be enough?

4. Do we need to submit the documents in advance to consulate at Hyderabad also?

1) Yes. You don't have to fill many common details again.
2) Yes. You have to do it. You don't want to send your kid alone for visa.
3) No. One set is enough. DS-160 confirmation page and interview appointment letter are different though.
4) Yes, in Hyd and Mumbai consulates.
