H1B stamping with valid H1B petition (2009)

Hi,

I have applied for H1B , quota of the Year 2010. My H1B petition got approved on Nov 2009.

Due to my maternity, i didn't go for stamping during that time.

My Petition is valid till 2013. But the invite letter has the employment date of joining as "oct 2009".

Can i go for stamping with this petition (Inivite letter), what is the possibility of getting stamped ? It seems my employer(consultant) can't get a new INVITE letter as they dont have the relationship now with the client applied.

Please advice, what can be done ?

If i go for stamping with current document, what is the possiblity of getting stamped at chennai consulate during this suituation ?

Better carry latest employment offer latter to prove that you still have a job there.
Visa officer might ask for it, and you should be able to show it.
