H4 interview in telugu @ hyd consulate

Hi,
My wife suppose to go to H4 visa interview in Hyderabad. She is not good enough in English hence I am planning to schedule telugu interview but I heard that there are more chances to get visa rejected if we select regional language.

So, my doubts are:
1) Is it really true that language selection matter for H4 visa?
2) In Hyderabad consulate, Will there be a translator for telugu - English conversation or VO would know telugu? I heard sometime back that in hyd consulate, there are VO’s who knows telugu. Is it true?
3) If anyone attent H4 interview on telugu in Hyderabad, Can you share your views which would help me?
4) I am not able to check the earliest possible visa interview slot if i select telugu but i am able to see for english. Will there be a long wait time to get the slot if we select regional language for interview?
