  • H1-b extension after 6 years

    Hi,

    My 6 years on h1-b expires on Dec 1st, 2010 and I have already filed for another 3 year extension based on my aprroved I140. I am assuming that my new H1 start date will be Dec 1st. After the h1-b extension is approved,

    1. if I change job before Dec 1st, which h1-b will be used by new employer for the transfer?
    2. Are there any restrictions for changing jobs after Dec 1st? I know that I can use my current priority date and start all over again on GC process from the new company.

    Thanks.

    >>> Give a copy of both the approval notices to your new employer while filing the transfer.

    >>> No.
